Objective

By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to write a short story or poem about Autumn using descriptive language and creative expression.

Materials and Prep

Materials: Paper, pencils, crayons or markers

Activities

1. Nature Walk: Take a nature walk and observe the changes in the environment during Autumn. Encourage the student to describe what they see and feel.

2. Story or Poem Writing: Have the student write a short story or poem about Autumn using the observations from the nature walk. Encourage them to use descriptive language and creative expression.

3. Illustration: After writing the story or poem, have the student illustrate their work with crayons or markers.
