Objective
By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to identify and read simple words related to the Minions theme and understand the importance of reading for fun.
Materials and Prep
Materials: Minions-themed reading books or printable reading passages, paper, pencils
Prep: Choose or create Minions-themed reading materials, set up a comfortable reading area
Activities
1. Minions Word Hunt: Hide Minions-themed words around the reading area and have the student find and read them aloud.
2. Minions Story Time: Read a Minions-themed story together, pausing to ask comprehension questions.
3. Minions Word Building: Use letter cards to build Minions-related words and practice reading them.
