Materials and Prep

  • Access to online or physical stores for shopping

Before the lesson:

  • Think about your personal style and what type of outfit you want to create.
  • Have a budget in mind for shopping for the outfit.

Activities

1. Brainstorming and Sketching: Use your sketchbook or paper to brainstorm and sketch out different outfit ideas based on your personal style.

2. Research and Inspiration: Use the computer or magazines to research and find inspiration for your outfit design. Look for different styles, colors, and patterns that resonate with you.

3. Budgeting and Shopping: Once you have a clear idea of your outfit design, create a budget for shopping. Then, either visit physical stores or browse online to find the clothing items and accessories that match your design.
