Materials and Prep
Materials: Notebook, pen/pencil
Prep: Review common spelling rules and prepare a list of commonly misspelled words.
Activities
1. Spelling Bee: Create a list of words for a spelling bee. Take turns with a family member or friend to spell the words out loud.
2. Word Search: Create a word search puzzle with commonly misspelled words. Challenge yourself to find and spell each word.
3. Story Writing: Write a short story using as many of the commonly misspelled words as possible. Review the spelling of each word as you use it in the story.
