Objective

By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to understand the concept of citizenship, the role of government, and the importance of being an informed and active citizen in current affairs.

Activities

1. Research and Discussion: Have the student research a current event related to government or citizenship. Then, discuss the event with them, highlighting the roles of citizens and the government in the situation.

2. Role Play: Create a scenario where the student takes on the role of a government official and makes decisions related to a current issue. Discuss the impact of their decisions on citizens.

3. Create a Poster: Ask the student to design a poster that promotes the importance of civic engagement and being an informed citizen. Encourage them to use creative visuals and persuasive language.
