Materials: Pencil, paper, Christmas-themed images or coloring sheets

Activities

1. Christmas Counting: Look at the Christmas images and count how many of each item you see. Write down the numbers.

2. Santa's Addition: Solve simple addition problems using numbers related to Christmas, such as 2 candy canes + 3 gingerbread men.

3. Reindeer Subtraction: Practice subtraction by solving problems like "Santa had 8 reindeer, but 3 went to play. How many are left?"

4. Holiday Patterns: Create and continue patterns using Christmas symbols like ornaments, snowflakes, and stockings.

  • "Let's count the number of Christmas trees in the picture. 1, 2, 3, 4! There are 4 trees!"
  • "If Santa has 5 presents and he gets 3 more, how many presents does he have in total? Let's add them together. 5 plus 3 equals 8!"
