Objective

Activities

1. Shark Brainstorm: Have the student think of words and phrases that describe sharks. Encourage them to think about the appearance, behavior, and habitat of sharks.

2. Descriptive Writing: Ask the student to choose one aspect of sharks from their brainstorm and write a descriptive paragraph about it. Encourage them to use adjectives and descriptive language.

  • Sharks are a type of fish that live in the ocean. They have sharp teeth and strong bodies. You can say, "Sharks are big fish that live in the ocean. They have pointy teeth and are very strong."
  • Sharks can be different colors like gray, blue, or even white. You can say, "Sharks come in different colors, like gray, blue, or white."
  • Sharks like to swim and hunt for food in the ocean. You can say, "Sharks love to swim and look for food in the big ocean."
