Materials and Prep

Materials: Paper, pencil

Prep: Familiarize yourself with some common Minecraft-related words.

Activities

1. Minecraft Word Hunt: Write down 5 Minecraft-related words on separate pieces of paper. Hide them around the room and have your child find them. Then, have them spell each word out loud.

2. Minecraft Spelling Bee: Choose 3 Minecraft-related words and have your child spell them out loud. Encourage them to use the words in a sentence.

3. Create a Minecraft Story: Have your child write a short story using at least 3 Minecraft-related words. Then, have them read the story out loud and spell the words they used.
