  • Ice cubes
  • Paintbrushes
  • Construction paper
  • Plastic bottles

Activities

1. Watercolor Painting: Allow the student to use the food coloring and paintbrushes to create watercolor paintings on the construction paper, exploring the different ways water and color interact.

2. Ice Sculptures: Have the student use the ice cubes to create sculptures by stacking and arranging them, observing how the ice melts and changes shape over time.

3. Water Bottle Music: Show the student how to fill plastic bottles with different levels of water to create musical tones, allowing them to experiment and make their own "water music".
