Objective

By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to identify and describe the moon, understand its significance, and engage in language arts activities related to the moon.

Materials and Prep

Materials needed:
- Moon picture or book with moon illustrations
- Paper
- Crayons or markers
- Space-themed stickers (optional)
- Moon facts (to be researched beforehand)

Activities

1. Moon Observation: Show the student a picture of the moon or read a book about the moon. Discuss its shape, color, and significance.
2. Moon Art: Have the student draw and color their own moon using the materials provided. They can also add space-themed stickers to decorate.
3. Moon Facts: Share interesting facts about the moon with the student and encourage them to ask questions and express their thoughts about the moon.
