Objective
By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to identify key elements of fairytales and create their own fairytale story.
Materials and Prep
Materials: Paper, pencils, crayons/markers
Prep: Familiarize yourself with popular fairytales and have them available for reference.
Activities
1. Read a Fairytale: Read a fairytale together and discuss the key elements such as magic, talking animals, and happy endings.
2. Create Your Own Fairytale: Encourage the student to create their own fairytale story, using the elements discussed earlier.
3. Illustrate the Fairytale: Have the student illustrate their fairytale story with drawings and colors.

- "Fairytales are stories with magic and talking animals. Can you think of any magical things in the story we read?"
- "What do you think will happen at the end of the story? Do you think it will be a happy ending?"
- "Now, let's create our own fairytale. What kind of magical things and talking animals would you like to include in your story?"
- "Let's draw a picture to show what happens in our fairytale. What colors will you use to make it magical?"
