Objective

Materials and Prep
Materials: Real or play money (coins and bills).
Prep: Familiarize yourself with the different coins and bills and their values.
Activities
1. Coin Sorting: Have the student sort a pile of mixed coins into separate piles by type (pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters).
2. Value Match-Up: Lay out different coins and bills and have the student match each coin to its corresponding value in bills.
3. Money Math: Create simple addition and subtraction problems using coins and bills for the student to solve.
