Materials and Prep
Materials:
- Large paper or cardboard
- Paints or colored markers
- Paintbrushes or drawing tools
- Natural items from the garden (leaves, flowers, twigs)
- Water and containers for mixing paints
Prep:
- Gather the materials listed above
- Ensure the workspace is suitable for art activities
Activities
1. Nature Scavenger Hunt: Take a walk in the garden and collect various natural items like leaves, flowers, and twigs.
2. Nature-Inspired Art: Use the collected natural items to create an artwork on the large paper or cardboard. Encourage the student to use the items as stamps or to draw inspiration for their artwork.
