Objective

Materials and Prep
Materials: Picture book about gardening, paper, crayons/markers
Prep: Familiarize yourself with basic gardening terms and prepare the picture book for use in the lesson.
Activities
1. Read a picture book about gardening and discuss the different plants and activities involved.
2. Have the student draw and label their favorite plant from the book, using simple sentences to describe it.
3. Play a game of "I Spy" using gardening-related items in the house or garden, encouraging the student to use descriptive words.
