Objective
By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to identify and read simple words related to Pokemon, and understand the concept of characters and storytelling.
Materials and Prep
Materials: Pokemon picture cards or Pokemon-themed books, writing materials. Prep: Familiarize yourself with Pokemon characters and their names.
Activities
1. Pokemon Word Matching: Show the student a picture of a Pokemon and ask them to match it with the corresponding word. Encourage them to sound out the letters and try to read the word.
2. Pokemon Storytelling: Create a simple story using Pokemon characters and read it to the student. Then, ask the student to point out different characters in the story and describe what they are doing.
3. Pokemon Name Writing: Have the student practice writing the names of different Pokemon characters. Provide guidance on letter formation and sounding out the names.

- "In Pokemon, there are many different characters called Pokemon. Can you point to a Pokemon and tell me its name?"
