Before starting the lesson, make sure you are familiar with the different shapes that can be created using Magnatiles.

Activities

  1. Build a square using Magnatiles. Count the number of sides and corners.

  2. Create a triangle using Magnatiles. Count the number of sides and corners.

  3. Build a rectangle using Magnatiles. Count the number of sides and corners.

  4. Construct a circle using Magnatiles. Discuss why a circle does not have sides or corners.

  5. Challenge yourself to build a shape of your choice using Magnatiles. Describe the shape's sides and corners.
