Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to understand the basic principles of survival in the wild and how different organisms adapt to their environments.

Materials and Prep

Materials: Notebook, pencil, internet access for research.

Prep: Familiarize yourself with the concept of adaptation and different survival strategies used by organisms in the wild.

Activities

  • Research and list down different survival strategies used by animals in the wild. Discuss and compare these strategies with a family member or a friend.

  • Take a nature walk and observe different plants and animals in your local environment. Note down any interesting adaptations or survival strategies you observe.

  • Create a short presentation or poster showcasing a specific animal and its unique survival adaptations. Use your research to explain how these adaptations help the animal survive in its environment.
