Materials and Prep

Materials: Notebook, pen/pencil

Prep: Familiarize yourself with The Silmarillion and its characters and places.

Activities

• Create a word search puzzle using key words from The Silmarillion. Once completed, exchange with a partner to solve.

• Write a short story using at least 5 key words from The Silmarillion. Be sure to spell them correctly in your story.

• Play a spelling bee game with a family member or friend using words from The Silmarillion.
