Activities
-
Start by researching and finding five words with common prefixes or suffixes. Write these words down in your notebook.
-
For each word, break it down into its base word and the prefix or suffix. Write down the base word and the prefix or suffix separately.
-
Next, analyze the meaning of the prefix or suffix. Write down the meaning next to the prefix or suffix.
-
Now, combine the base word and the prefix or suffix to form the complete word again. Write down the complete word.
-
Finally, write a sentence using each of the complete words you formed. Make sure the sentence makes sense and demonstrates the meaning of the word.
