Objective

By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to identify key elements of the story "Prancer" and demonstrate understanding of the plot and characters.

Materials and Prep

Materials: Copy of the book "Prancer", writing materials

Prep: Familiarize yourself with the story "Prancer" and prepare discussion questions.

Activities

1. Read "Prancer" aloud to the student, pausing to discuss key plot points and characters.

2. Ask the student to draw a picture of their favorite scene from the story and explain why they chose that scene.

3. Have the student write a short summary of the story, including the main characters and the problem they faced.
