Objective

By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to recognize and appreciate the visual representation of castles in art and understand their historical significance.

Materials and Prep

Materials: Paper, crayons or markers

Activities

1. Draw a Castle: Have the student draw their own castle using crayons or markers. Encourage them to be creative with the design and colors.

2. Story Time: Read a children's book about castles and discuss the different features of the castle depicted in the illustrations.

3. Castle Hunt: Look for pictures of castles in storybooks or online. Discuss the different styles and designs of castles.
