Activities
- Role-play: Have the student pretend to have a conversation with a family member or a stuffed animal. Then, introduce a scenario where the student needs to interrupt the conversation politely. Guide them through the process of doing so.
- Storytime: Read a children's book that involves characters interrupting each other and discuss how the characters could have handled the interruptions more politely.
- Draw and Explain: Ask the student to draw a picture of a polite way to interrupt a conversation and then explain their drawing to you.
