Objective

Activities

  1. Activity 1: Introduction to Environmental Science

    Start by discussing with the student what environmental science is and why it is important. Use examples such as pollution, deforestation, and climate change to illustrate the impact of human activities on the environment. Encourage the student to share their thoughts and ideas.

  2. Activity 2: Investigating Ecosystems

    Have the student choose an ecosystem they are interested in (e.g., rainforest, ocean, desert) and research about its characteristics, plants, and animals. They can use books or the internet to gather information. Ask the student to create a drawing or write a short paragraph describing their chosen ecosystem.

  3. Activity 3: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

    Discuss the importance of reducing waste, reusing materials, and recycling. Brainstorm together with the student different ways they can practice these concepts in their daily lives. Encourage them to come up with creative ideas and make a list of actions they can take.

  4. Activity 4: Creating an Environmental Poster

    Using the information learned from the previous activities, have the student design and create an environmental poster. They can include drawings, slogans, and facts about environmental conservation. This activity allows the student to express their understanding and creativity.
