Objective
By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to analyze and interpret a reading passage about pilots, and demonstrate understanding by answering comprehension questions.
Materials and Prep
- Reading passage about pilots (can be found online or from a textbook)
- Pen or pencil
- Printed comprehension questions (can be created by the teacher)
Activities

Introduce the topic of pilots and discuss what the student already knows about them. Encourage the student to share any personal experiences or stories related to pilots.

Provide the reading passage about pilots to the student. Instruct the student to read the passage silently and underline any unfamiliar words or phrases.
