Objective
By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to recognize and spell marine life vocabulary words.
Materials and Prep
- Whiteboard or large piece of paper
- Markers or crayons
- Marine life picture cards (can be hand-drawn or printed)
- Scissors
Activities

Introduce the student to different marine life vocabulary words by showing them the picture cards.

Ask the student to identify and spell each marine life word out loud.

Write the spelling of each word on the whiteboard or paper as the student says it.

Once all the words are spelled out, cut out each word from the whiteboard or paper to create individual word cards.

Mix up the word cards and ask the student to match each word card to its corresponding picture card.

Encourage the student to spell out each word again as they make the matches.
