Activities

  1. Show the student pictures or illustrations of different owl species. Discuss their physical characteristics, such as feathers, beaks, and eyes. Encourage the student to ask questions and share their observations.

  2. Introduce the concept of geography by explaining that owls can be found in different parts of the world. Use a world map or globe to show the student where different owl species are commonly found. Point out a few specific countries or regions.

  3. Ask the student to draw an owl on the whiteboard or large paper. Encourage them to be creative and include the physical characteristics discussed earlier. Help them label the different parts of the owl, such as wings, beak, and eyes.
