Activities

Counting Owls:
Draw or use owl-themed manipulatives to represent different numbers of owls. Ask the student to count the owls and write the corresponding numbers.

Addition with Owls:
Draw two groups of owls and ask the student to count each group. Then, ask them to add the two numbers together and write the sum.

Subtraction with Owls:
Draw a group of owls and ask the student to count them. Then, erase or remove some owls and ask the student to figure out how many owls are left. Have them write the subtraction equation.
