  2. Creating a Character: Ask the student to choose or create their own character for their story. They should describe the character's appearance, personality, and abilities. Have them write a short paragraph introducing their character.

  3. Setting the Scene: Next, have the student think about the setting of their story. They should describe the location, such as a Mushroom Kingdom or a haunted castle. Encourage them to use descriptive language to bring the setting to life. Have them write a paragraph describing the setting.

  4. Plot Development: Help the student come up with a plot for their story. They should think about the problem or conflict their character will face and how they will overcome it. Encourage them to include exciting and imaginative elements from the Super Mario universe. Have them write a short paragraph outlining the main events of their story.

  5. Writing the Story: Finally, have the student use their brainstorming notes and paragraphs to write their creative story. Remind them to use proper sentence structure, punctuation, and descriptive language. Encourage them to be as imaginative as possible.
