- A whiteboard or a large piece of paper
- Markers or crayons
Activities
- Read the picture book about riding a bike together. Talk about the different parts of a bike and how to ride it safely.
- Show the bike or the picture of a bike to the student. Discuss the colors, shapes, and features of the bike.
- Put on the helmet and pretend to go on a bike ride. Encourage the student to describe the imaginary scenery and what they see along the way.
- Draw a simple picture of a bike on the whiteboard or paper. Ask the student to identify and name the different parts of the bike, such as wheels, handlebars, and pedals.
- Encourage the student to draw their own picture of a bike. Help them label the different parts if they are able to.
