Activities
- Story Telling: Read a storybook aloud to the student and engage in discussions about the characters, plot, and setting.
- Picture Writing: Show the student a picture card and ask them to describe what they see. Encourage them to create a simple sentence or draw a picture related to the image.
- Letter Tracing: Help the student practice writing their name or simple words by tracing over dotted letters.
- Word Hunt: Go on a word hunt around the house, looking for familiar words on objects. Encourage the student to write or draw the words they find.
- Story Creation: Together with the student, create a story using their favorite characters or toys. Write down the story as they dictate it to you.
