Activities

Ask the student to count the number of Magnatile pieces they have. Write the number on the paper.
Using the Magnatile pieces, demonstrate addition by combining two groups of Magnatile. Ask the student to count the total number of Magnatile pieces.
Using the Magnatile pieces, demonstrate subtraction by removing some pieces from a group. Ask the student to count the remaining Magnatile pieces.
Encourage the student to create different patterns using the Magnatile pieces. Ask them to describe the patterns they have made.
