Talking Points

  • Gems are formed deep inside the Earth over millions of years. They are made up of minerals and can be found in rocks or as individual crystals.
  • Some gems are precious and valuable, like diamonds, while others are more common. All gems, however, are special and beautiful in their own way.
  • Gems can be used for various purposes, such as jewelry, decoration, or even in technology. They have been treasured by humans for thousands of years.
  • When observing gems, it's important to handle them with care. They can be delicate and may have sharp edges, so it's best to hold them gently.
  • Take your time to explore each gem and appreciate its unique features. Use your senses to observe its color, texture, and any patterns it may have.
  • Have fun playing with the gems and let your creativity flow. You can create your own stories or games using the gems as characters or treasures.
