  • Ruler
  • Protractor
  • Printouts of Anime characters (optional)

No prior knowledge is required for this lesson.

Activities

  • Create Anime-inspired geometric characters: Encourage the student to draw their favorite Anime characters using basic geometric shapes. They can use circles, triangles, and rectangles to construct the characters' bodies, heads, and facial features.
  • Design Anime landscapes: Ask the student to create Anime-inspired landscapes using geometric shapes. They can use squares and rectangles for buildings, triangles for mountains, and circles for trees.
  • Analyze Anime character proportions: Provide the student with printouts of Anime characters and ask them to measure the proportions using a ruler. They can measure the length of the head, the body, and other body parts to understand the ratios and relationships between different parts of the characters.
