Talking Points
-
Measuring cups and spoons help us measure ingredients accurately. They have different lines or numbers to show different amounts.
-
When we measure liquids like water, we pour them into the measuring cup and make sure the liquid reaches the correct line.
-
When we measure dry ingredients like flour, we scoop them into the measuring cup and level off the excess using a spatula.
-
Recipes are like instructions for cooking. They tell us what ingredients we need and how much of each ingredient to use.
-
By following a recipe and measuring the ingredients correctly, we can create delicious meals and treats!
