Before starting the lesson, familiarize yourself with the concept of EPCOT and its significance in the world of visual arts.
Activities
- Research EPCOT: Encourage the student to explore the concept and history of EPCOT by using the internet or books. Discuss the different pavilions, attractions, and the overall theme of EPCOT.
- Create an EPCOT-inspired artwork: Ask the student to imagine their own pavilion or attraction that they would like to see in EPCOT. Provide them with paper and pencils or crayons to draw their creation. Encourage them to think about the theme, colors, and shapes that would fit in with the existing pavilions.
- Art Appreciation: Show the student various artworks inspired by EPCOT, such as paintings or photographs. Discuss the different artistic styles and techniques used in these artworks. Ask the student to describe what they like about each artwork and why.
