Materials and Prep

Prior knowledge of Minecraft gameplay and basic writing skills are helpful but not required.

Activities

• Activity 1: Minecraft World Building
  Imagine and describe your own unique Minecraft world. Consider the landscape, buildings, characters, and any special features. Draw a map or write a detailed description of your world.
• Activity 2: Character Creation
  Create a new character for your Minecraft story. Think about their appearance, personality, and special abilities. Write a character profile including their name, age, and background story.
• Activity 3: Plot Development
  Brainstorm an exciting adventure or quest for your Minecraft character. What challenges will they face? What goals do they need to achieve? Write a brief outline of your story, including the beginning, middle, and end.
• Activity 4: Writing the Story
  Use your outline to write the full story of your Minecraft adventure. Be creative and descriptive, using your imagination to bring the Minecraft world and characters to life. Aim for a minimum of three paragraphs.
• Activity 5: Editing and Revising
  Review your story for spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors. Make any necessary corrections and improvements to enhance the flow and clarity of your writing.
