Activities

• Activity 1: Fortnite Fraction Targets

  Create a target board with different Fortnite-themed characters and assign each character a fraction value. For example, the main character could be worth 1/2, a supporting character worth 1/4, and a background character worth 1/8. Roll a dice to determine the number of shots you get and try to hit the characters to earn points. Calculate your score by adding up the fractions of the characters you hit.

• Activity 2: Fortnite Fraction Word Problems

  Create word problems related to Fortnite and fractions. For example, "If you have 3/4 of a Fortnite skin and you want to trade 1/3 of it for a new emote, how much of the original skin will you have left?" Solve these word problems using fraction operations and explain your reasoning.

• Activity 3: Fortnite Fraction Art

  Create a Fortnite-themed artwork using different colored paper or markers. Divide the artwork into different sections and assign each section a fraction value. For example, the sky could be 1/2, the ground 1/4, and the characters 1/8. Use these fractions to determine how much of each color to use in your artwork.
