Activities

  1. Read and Discuss: Begin by reading a selected Bible passage about Jesus, such as the birth of Jesus in Luke 2:1-20. Discuss the significance of Jesus' birth and the historical context in which it took place.

  2. Timeline Creation: Ask the student to create a timeline of Jesus' life. They can draw the timeline on a piece of paper and mark important events such as his birth, ministry, crucifixion, and resurrection. Encourage them to include any other significant events they have learned about.

  3. Research and Presentation: Ask the student to research and prepare a short presentation on a specific aspect of Jesus' life or teachings. They can choose a topic of interest, such as the miracles Jesus performed or his teachings on love and forgiveness. The presentation can be in the form of a short speech or a creative project, such as a poster or a slideshow.

  4. Reflection and Journaling: Have the student reflect on what they have learned about Jesus and write a journal entry discussing their thoughts and feelings about his historical significance and impact on the world.
