Materials and Prep

- A quiet and comfortable reading area
Activities
- Introduce the book: Show the book cover to the student and ask them what they think the story might be about.
- Read the story together: Sit in the reading area with the student and read the Lego book out loud. Encourage the student to follow along with their finger as you read.
- Discuss the story: After reading, ask the student questions about the story. What was their favorite part? Did they learn anything new about Legos?
- Retell the story: Have the student try to retell the story using their own words. Encourage them to include important details and the main events.
- Draw a picture: Provide the student with paper and crayons. Ask them to draw a picture of their favorite scene from the story. Encourage them to label or describe their drawing using simple sentences.
