Activities

  • Animal Spelling Bee: Choose a list of animal names and have a spelling bee with yourself or a family member. Take turns spelling out the names correctly. If you get a word wrong, practice writing it down three times to help reinforce the correct spelling.
  • Create Animal Flashcards: Write the names of different animals on flashcards. On the back of each flashcard, write a sentence using that animal's name. Shuffle the flashcards and test yourself by reading the sentence and spelling out the animal's name.
  • Online Animal Spelling Quiz: Use a computer or mobile device to find online spelling quizzes related to animals. Complete the quizzes and track your progress. Challenge yourself to improve your score each time you take the quiz.
