Activities

  1. Building with Blocks: Encourage the student to use the toy construction materials to build structures like houses, towers, or bridges.
  2. Tool Exploration: Allow the student to explore the toy construction tools and discuss their functions. Demonstrate how to use each tool safely.
  3. Construction Story Time: Read a construction-themed book or watch a video about construction. Discuss the different tools and materials mentioned in the story.
  4. Construction Scavenger Hunt: Create a list of construction-related items for the student to find around the house or yard. Examples include nails, screws, wood, or a hard hat.
  5. Construction Drawing: Provide the student with paper and crayons/markers. Ask them to draw their dream construction project and explain what materials and tools they would use.
