Activities

Introduction: Show the student pictures or read a book about rainforests to generate excitement and interest.

Word Hunt: Write down rainforest-related words on the whiteboard or paper. Have the student search for those words in the pictures or books, and then spell them out loud.

Word Building: Give the student letter cards (can be made using paper or index cards) with letters to build rainforest-related words. Have them arrange the letters to spell the words correctly.
