No prior knowledge or preparation is required for this lesson.
Activities
- Create a Cloud Collage: Have the student cut out cloud shapes from the white construction paper and glue them onto the blue construction paper to create their own cloud collage. Encourage them to be creative and make different types of clouds.
- Cloud Observation: Go outside with the student and look up at the sky. Ask them to describe the clouds they see. Are they big or small? Fluffy or flat? White or gray? Guide them in using descriptive words to talk about the clouds.
- Cloud Drawing: Have the student use markers or crayons to draw their favorite type of cloud on a separate piece of paper. Ask them to label the different parts of the cloud, such as the base, top, and any unique features.
