Objective

By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to understand the concepts of bullying and harassment and their impact on individuals and communities.

Activities

  1. Start by discussing the definition of bullying and harassment with the student. Ask them to share their understanding of these terms.
  2. Engage the student in a brainstorming session. Ask them to list different types of bullying and harassment they are aware of. Write down their responses on a piece of paper.
  3. Using the list created in the previous activity, encourage the student to think about the impact of bullying and harassment on individuals and communities. Discuss the emotional, physical, and social consequences.
  4. Ask the student to create a poster or drawing that promotes kindness and respect, and discourages bullying and harassment. They can use their creativity to convey a positive message.
  5. Have a discussion with the student about strategies to prevent and address bullying and harassment. Encourage them to think about how they can be an advocate for change in their own community.
