Talking Points

  • Art is all about expressing yourself. You can use colors, shapes, and different materials to show how you feel or what you imagine.
  • Patterns can be found everywhere in art. Look around you and notice how patterns are used in nature, buildings, and even clothes. What patterns do you like the most?
  • Watercolor paints are magical. When you mix water with the paint, it creates a beautiful and transparent effect on the paper. Experiment with different amounts of water to see how it changes the paint.
  • A collage is like a puzzle made of different pieces. You can use different materials to create a collage. Think about what you want to create and how you can arrange the pieces to make it look interesting.
  • There are no right or wrong answers in art. Your artwork is unique and special because it comes from your imagination. Don't worry about making mistakes; they can sometimes lead to the most interesting creations!
