Objective

Activities

  • Warm-up exercises: Start with a light jog in place, followed by jumping jacks and stretches to loosen up your muscles.
  • Basic karate moves: Learn and practice simple karate punches, kicks, and blocks. Focus on technique and proper form.
  • Shadow karate: Pretend you are performing a karate routine in front of a mirror. Practice your moves with precision and control.
  • Karate obstacle course: Set up a small course with objects to jump over, crawl under, and dodge. Perform karate moves while navigating the course.
  • Karate balance challenge: Stand on one leg and try to maintain your balance while performing various karate moves. Switch legs and repeat.
  • Karate focus exercise: Practice hitting a target (can be a soft pillow or cushion) with your punches and kicks. Focus on accuracy and control.
  • Cool-down stretches: Finish the lesson with gentle stretches to relax your muscles and prevent any soreness.
