Objective
By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to understand basic math concepts related to tractors and apply them in simple activities.
Materials and Prep
- Toy tractors (if available)
- Paper and crayons
- Counting objects (can be small toys, buttons, or coins)
No specific prior knowledge is required for this lesson.
Activities
- Count the Wheels: Ask the student to count the number of wheels on a toy tractor. Repeat with different toy tractors to reinforce counting skills.
- Draw and Color: Have the student draw their favorite tractor and color it using their imagination. Encourage them to use different colors for different parts of the tractor.
- Parking Spot: Create a parking lot on a piece of paper and place a few toy tractors on it. Ask the student to count how many tractors are parked and write the number next to each tractor.
- Sorting Shapes: Cut out different shapes (circle, square, triangle) from paper. Show the shapes to the student and ask them to sort them into piles based on the shapes they see on tractors.
