  • Paper and crayons/markers
  • Printed pictures of different animals
  • Optional: Animal books or encyclopedias

Activities

  1. Watch an episode of Wild Kratts together. Pay attention to the different animals they encounter and their habitats.

  2. After watching, ask your child to choose their favorite animal from the episode. Provide them with printed pictures of different animals to choose from if needed.

Using paper and crayons/markers, have them draw the chosen animal and its habitat. Encourage them to include details about the animal's surroundings.

  3. Once they finish their drawing, ask them to describe the animal and its habitat to you. Discuss what they learned from the episode and their drawing.

  4. Optional: If you have access to animal books or encyclopedias, look up more information about the chosen animal together. Read interesting facts and discuss them.
