Materials and Prep
- Paper and pencil
- Printed pictures of Pokémon (optional)
Activities

Pokémon Counting: Choose a Pokémon picture and count how many of that Pokémon you see. Write the number down and try to draw the Pokémon too!

Pokémon Addition: Pick two Pokémon pictures and write down their names. Then, imagine they are playing together and count how many Pokémon are there in total. Write down the sum of the two numbers.

Pokémon Subtraction: Select two Pokémon pictures and write down their names. Imagine one of the Pokémon goes away. Count how many Pokémon are left and write down the difference between the two numbers.

Pokémon Patterns: Create a pattern using different Pokémon pictures. For example, Pikachu, Charmander, Pikachu, Charmander, Pikachu... Can you continue the pattern? Write down the next three Pokémon in the pattern.
