Objective

By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to understand the concept of pyramids, specifically focusing on the Pyramids of Egypt.

Materials and Prep

  • Printed pictures of the Pyramids of Egypt
  • Access to a computer or tablet for online resources (optional)

No prior knowledge is required for this lesson.

Activities

  • Create Your Own Pyramid: Provide the student with paper and crayons/markers. Instruct them to draw and color their own pyramid. Encourage them to be creative and add details.
  • Puzzle Fun: Print out pictures of the Pyramids of Egypt and cut them into puzzle pieces. Let the student solve the puzzle by putting the pieces together.
  • Virtual Tour: If access to a computer or tablet is available, take a virtual tour of the Pyramids of Egypt together. Explore different angles and learn interesting facts about the pyramids.
